Our English Teacher liked calling it running notes. She would walk us through long Shakespearean conversations and brief us with bullet points to jot down. I resonated well upon hearing that. The existence of human civilization is rooted in progress through all the dimensions. After all, To out do yesterday’s excellence is today’s goal.

I remember those winter afternoons at my terrace before the exams, 3 books of a single subject,  a reference book, question bank of last 10 years, test papers and a practice note book around me, it would be the same with all the subjects closing exams. Although there were only a few chapters to read, I had to flutter through innumerable pages and notes to learn one topic and cumulatively lost lot of time in the process. That was a long time back, however many students still tend to practice the same.

Its 2018 and about time to make a shift in this trend. This time calls for effective learning without having the students waste time. In the era of constant iterations

The Bar Council of India states an approximate no. of 12 lakh lawyers and 4-5 lakh law students besides 60,000- 70,000 law students graduating in India every year. Our country is huge and having said that the figure above seems just modest. Farming a young mind.

Fortune! That’s right, Education costs a fortune these days. Infact the investment in so high that its often one of the reasons parents rethink their decision to have their next baby. Each of us are entitled to education but due to the disproportionate financial ability of society a large percentage miss out on that. Starting from entrance/interviews, admission, to the year round expenses of a student accounts up to a value that only a king can afford. Exact no.s are hard to tell but recent survey tells that students budget about $1,200 a year for textbooks and supplies alone. The figures further are outrageous. Most of us during the course of our Education don’t notice the hole we dig into our family’s finances because we are taught that Education is very important and any and every sacrifice is worth it. For Twenty long years Parents sacrifice extra hours and health at work for few hundred bucks yet most end up loaning money for their child’s higher education. Subsequently, once the student is done with education and starts to earn, he begins to pay to the bank for almost a decade. Just almost when the bank releases the former student, a kid of his/her own steps into the world and then a new cycle of twenty long years of extra wage at work begins. The cycle goes on and on until one or more in the family is broken under pressure. How sad has it gotten!
